Our client provides a combination of services (mainly software & applications) to customers in the legal, health & safety, employment law, ISO regulation and cyber security fields.
The firm’s strategy is to grow via acquisitions so there will be no shortage of IT projects and programmes associated with the newly purchased firms’ IT infrastructure that will need to be migrated into ‘the mother ship’. So much going on here, and an exciting time to join!
Your role will be to provide technical support to internal users, ensuring smooth IT operations and resolving hardware/software issues efficiently. You’ll be the first point of contact for IT queries, troubleshooting problems, and supporting the maintenance of IT systems. This role involves working closely with IT operations, escalated support teams, and end-users to maintain a seamless IT environment.
Tech you\’ll work with:
- M365
- Entra ID (some old on prem AD)
- End user compute
- Some Intune
- Laptop management
- SharePoint access and permissions
Key skills:
- 2-5 years experience in a similar role
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Projects/Responsibilities:
- Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Assist with IT equipment setup, configuration, and maintenance
- Maintain IT documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting manuals
- Provide training to end-users on IT systems and applications
- Support post-integration processes and ensure a smooth IT experience for all users
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT teams when needed
- Maintain communication with stakeholders and provide regular updates on IT support matters
