An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Campus Safety Team at the University of Surrey. This is a rewarding, people-focused role at the heart of our vibrant university community, supporting students, staff, and visitors 24 hours a day.

About the role

As a Campus Safety Officer, you will be one of the friendly and reassuring faces of the University. From helping a student who has locked themselves out, to providing calm support during incidents or emergencies, your presence will make a real difference. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and meaningful work. No two days are the same, and you will be fully supported with comprehensive training and ongoing development.

Working pattern: This role operates on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, supporting our 24/7 service: 2-day shifts followed by 2-night shifts per cycle. Excellent work-life balance with regular rest days built in.
