FedPoint is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Enrollment and Billing Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely billing of specific insurance premiums, resolving discrepancies in the payment posting processes, and building strong relationships with agency payroll offices. Key Responsibilities:

Reconciliation and Discrepancy Resolution (40%)

Assess and resolve new enrollment errors, evaluating eligibility and employment/retirement status.

Investigate and resolve pre-note and billing errors, ensuring timely actions per OPM metrics.

Reconcile variances between Payment Files and received funds.

Execute appropriate actions for unexpected payment amounts and process refunds.

Report eligibility, process, or system issues to management.

Eligibility and Demographic Maintenance (25%)

Process system tickets including inactivations, agency name changes, and eligibility controls.

Update enrollees’ status, addresses, and other key information based on received communications.

Handle incoming faxes and manage returned mail through the RecordsForce system.

Quality check and prepare manual letters and direct bills as per guidelines.

Transmit Pre-Note files and ensure accurate bill file preparations.

Perform quality checks on bill files prior to transmission and ensure compliance with OPM (Office of Personnel) metrics.

Post payment files and validate the bill file processing.

Payment Processing (10%)

Process online payment adjustments for return items.

Research manual payments received without remittance stubs and ensure correct application.

Investigate unidentifiable payments and apply them appropriately.

Handle direct payment inquiries and reversals for dishonored checks.

Relationship Development (9%)

Document and maintain up-to-date profiles and schedules for agency payroll offices (APOs).

Resolve billing and payment file issues with APO representatives.

Act as the key contact for BENEFEDS Customer Service and Data Quality Analysts (DQA).

Manage special projects as assigned.

Act as a backup to other Premium Analysts when needed.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: 1+ years of experience in enrollment or premium administration, group billing, or employee benefits administration preferred.

Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in computer navigation and data entry.

Exceptional attention to detail with proven follow-through.

Ability to manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Location: Portsmouth, NH

Schedule: Enjoy the perfect balance of in-office collaboration and remote work with a Hybrid schedule, plus the option to work from home a few days a week!

Compensation: The typical starting salary would be between $21-23/hr, based on qualifications and experience as it relates to our requirements. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary employee bonus plan based on company metric performance as well as a full suite of benefits, listed below.
