WeDoData are working with a leading independent school in Somerset who are looking to appoint an IT Technician on a full time, permanent basis.
This is a highly prestigious private school with beautiful campuses and a close-knit community. The IT team are collaborative and supportive, they are able to offer lots of hands-on ongoing training and support to the successful candidate. You will be part of a large team of 17, where responsibilities are split between teams in networking, systems, end user support/technician.
My client is looking for a technically-minded, hardworking and enthusiastic individual with a passion to learn and develop their IT skills in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Applicants must have:
- Previous experience working in the IT sector
- Knowledge of Windows, PC\’s, Macs
- Full Right to Work in the UK (sponsorship cannot be offered)
The following would be advantageous:
- Experience working in a school (or other educational) setting
- A further qualification in IT (e.g. A-level, apprenticeship)
- Driver’s license and vehicle
