This is a fantastic opportunity to join a quality and highly successful commercial insurance brokerage in a management position. Our client has been growing organically for many years and continues to post impressive results. The business is very secure, providing a professional and enjoyable working environment with plenty of flexibility and the opportunity to work on a part office / part home basis.

Conveniently located in Leeds, our client is looking for either an experienced broking manager, or an ambitious individual currently in a senior broker role or an acting number two, who is keen to step up into a more senior position.

This role will have a primary focus on “Mid-Market” and “Corporate” risks; working closely with the teams supporting a national network of Account Executives and Account Directors. You will be overseeing the management element whilst taking a lead and actively assisting with the larger corporate and more technically complex cases.

Working closely with the Branch Director as well as the Sales and Operations Directors, you will have an input into the strategic development of the business including developing insurer relationships, taking staff appraisals, identifying training requirements, assisting with recruitment etc.

Having worked with this client for many years, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. This role would be ideally suited a dynamic individual, keen to make your mark within a successful business.

It is essential that applicants are smart and professional with a “can-do” attitude; you will also be highly organised and a strong communicator. Previous use of Acturis and progress towards CII qualification would be beneficial.
