Overview

Join Brunelcare as a Cook with a zero‑hours contract. The role supports the Head Chef in ensuring high‑quality, nutritious meals are delivered efficiently for residents and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef with planning, organising, preparing, presenting, and serving high‑quality, nutritious meals for residents and visitors.
  • Ensure all food is produced to the highest standards and the correct quantities are delivered to relevant service points at the right time.
  • Maintain high cleanliness throughout the kitchen and implement all of Brunelcare’s Health and Safety procedures.
  • Step in for the Head Chef if required in their absence and carry out their responsibilities.

About You

  • Previous experience in a catering environment and excellent catering skills.
  • Available to work various hours and shift patterns, including weekends.
  • Work well within the team, maintaining effective communication at all times.
  • Willingness to undergo further training and development and attain relevant qualifications and specialised experience where required.
