We’re looking for a hands-on, passionate Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house team at a bold, modern country house hotel in Wiltshire. Recently transformed with vibrant interiors, a new kitchen garden restaurant, and playful guest experiences, this is a venue on an exciting journey — and you’ll be a key part of it.
You’ll take ownership of the full restaurant operation, working closely with senior management and the Exec Chef to ensure consistently high standards across multiple F&B outlets — including restaurant, conservatory, domes, room service, and events. The ideal candidate will be energetic, guest-focused, and confident leading a dynamic team in a busy, quality-led environment.

About the role:
Lead and manage the daily operation across all F&B areas
Inspire and support a young front-of-house team with energy and consistency
Maintain high standards of service, appearance, and guest experience
Work closely with the Exec Chef to align food and service delivery
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and team training
Monitor and respond to guest feedback
Maintain budgets, control wage costs and minimise wastage
Ensure stock, equipment and cleanliness standards are upheld
Support the senior leadership team with promotions, planning and events
About you:
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or strong Assistant Manager in a quality venue
Confident leading service from the front – this is a hands-on role
Passionate about food, wine and people
Organised, proactive, and commercially aware
Warm, approachable, and able to inspire a team
Strong understanding of cost control, rotas, stock and compliance
Experience working across multiple outlets or in a hotel setting is a plus
