HR Support Administrator
Location: Kings Hill, Kent (Hybrid – at least one day in office per week, with travel to other Kent offices as required)
Salary/package: £22,995.07 per annum
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Why this role matters
As a HR Support Administrator, you will play a key role within our HR Advisory and Legal Connect team. This team provides expert advice and support to schools and academies on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance cases, capability processes, redundancies, reorganisations, and TUPE transfers.
Your contribution will be vital in supporting this work through high-quality HR administration, helping to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of our services
What you’ll be doing
• Acting as a first point of phone and email contact, monitoring group mailboxes and calls for team members, filtering as appropriate and redirecting communication.
• Providing HR administrative support to our consultancy and legal connect team including producing letters and documents, using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Support our Consultants with administrative tasks in relation to preparing case work and hearing papers, note taking at meetings, audio transcribing and arranging and managing a diary of team meetings and consultant duty cover arrangements.
• Support with Headteacher recruitment processes on behalf of our customers. This involves dealing with general enquiries from candidates, requesting references, preparing packs, and arranging social media checks. Ensuring new appointment details are completed by the Selection Panel.
• Support the administration of TUPE transfers by providing timelines and letters, checking employee liability information, liaising with key stakeholders, as appropriate
• Support with redundancy processes on behalf of customers by producing timelines, completing redundancy and pension estimates and producing all letters connected with the process. Ensuring the timelines are met at each stage of the process.
• Support our Senior Legal Adviser with communication associated with Settlement Agreements and other legal work for customers.
• Support with job benchmarking processes by collating documents and making assessments.
• Ensure that all case work you support is recorded on our case management system to ensure customer billing is accurate.
• Raising disbursements where appropriate to charge customers for work undertaken and ensure accurate billing through case management and time recording system
• Support with overseeing our core customer training and bespoke programmes, by monitoring booking system, ensuring invites are sent and access to online materials are available and certificates produced and raise associated charges.

• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite.
• Professionalism, credibility, and confidence when dealing with customers and colleagues.
• Experience working in office administration and using initiative and proactive steps to solve problems and improve processes.
• Previous experience working in a customer service environment
• Awareness of Data Protection and need for confidentiality
