Position:

We’re looking for an organised and driven PMO Team Leader to lead and oversee our Project Management Office, ensuring the seamless delivery of operational projects across the organisation on a 6 month fixed term contract.

This is a pivotal leadership role focused on driving excellence in project execution, enhancing service delivery, and developing a high-performing team of Project and Planning Coordinators.

As PMO Team Leader, you’ll ensure our projects — particularly ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) installations — are delivered on time, to spec, and with a right-first-time approach. You’ll champion effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement across teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of ANPR installations, from initial surveys to site go-live.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Project and Planning Coordinators to ensure KPIs and SLAs are consistently achieved.
  • Maintain a clear, centralised view of PMO capacity and resource allocation across all operational projects.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture across the PMO and wider project delivery teams.
  • Produce operational and management reports to inform decisions and drive process improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams (ANPR, Sales, Technology) and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure project surveys are accurate and aligned with operational targets to support first-time-right installations.
  • Resolve scheduling or resource conflicts with agility and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and team development activities.

The full role scope will be available on the job description.

Ready to make a real impact and drive operational excellence? We’d love to hear from you!

  • Working knowledge of ANPR installation processes (desirable).
  • Highly organised and calm under pressure.
  • Confident in managing project timelines, resources, and team development.
  • Collaborative leadership style with a focus on enabling others to succeed.
