Responsibilities
The US Navy/Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is responsible for research and development, testing, evaluation, engineering, and fleet support for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles.
This contract pertains to NSWCPD Code 333, which handles Ship Systems Hardening. The Ship Systems Hardening Branch (Code 333) supports Environmental Qualification and Ship System Hardening Programs across all ship, carrier, and submarine program offices. Services include testing, qualification, analysis, certification of ship systems and equipment, and technical guidance on environmental qualification.
M&J personnel will provide engineering and technical services to support Ship Systems Hardening actions in field environmental qualification, applicable to all surface ship and submarine programs under NSWCPD Materials, Structures, Environmental & Protection Division, Code 33.
PLACE OF WORK
The primary work location is on-site at the US Navy/Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia. Additional work may be performed at M&J Office locations, with travel to Maine, Maryland, Norfolk, Virginia, Newport News, Virginia, Florida, and Japan.
SECURITY CLEARANCE STATEMENT
This position requires a SECRET Level US Government Security Clearance. Candidates must have or be able to obtain a security clearance at the SECRET level. Applicants must be US Citizens.
Clearance Level: Secret
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Bachelor\’s degree in Business or Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Target Experience: At least seven (7) years as a Program Manager in three (3) of the following areas: contract management, budgeting, scheduling, planning, and estimating progress tracking. Program management experience must include shock experience.
