Skill and Responsibility Overview:
- Leadership and Operations Management: Lead the day-to-day operation and development of the Infrastructure and Security department, ensuring effective management of the IT ecosystem and security monitoring.
- Infrastructure Strategy & Development: Shape the infrastructure strategy to support future technology needs across the Retail, Academy, and Grocery arms, with a focus on scalable and redundant solutions.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Oversee the implementation of cybersecurity policies, threat monitoring, and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., PCI, GDPR, Cyber Essentials Plus).
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge in AWS, Cisco Meraki, Microsoft technologies, security tools like Sophos/Darktrace, and experience in scripting (PowerShell), backup solutions, and incident management.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and act as a technical authority, collaborating with senior stakeholders to align IT strategy with business goals.
