Join Our Team as a Wellbeing Support Worker Make a Difference Every Day!
Location: Southampton
Hours: Shifts 7:00 am to 2:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 10:00 pm
Sleep in Shifts 10:00 pm to 7:00 am
Contract Type: Full-time and Part-time hours available based on the above shifts
Salary: From £12.21 per hour + £61.50 per sleep-in shift

About The Role
As a Wellbeing Support Worker, youll work closely with customers to help them achieve their independence goals. Youll be supporting people in their homes and local communities from building life skills like budgeting and meal planning, to accessing education, employment, and local services.
Your support will be tailored, strengths-based, and person-centred always putting the individual first. You\’ll help build confidence, promote inclusion, and empower each person to lead a fulfilling, independent life.
What Youll Be Doing
- Supporting individuals with daily living skills from cooking and shopping to budgeting and travel.
- Helping customers access work, learning, and community opportunities.
- Creating and reviewing personalised Wellbeing and Support Plans.
- Prompting medication and personal care, where needed.
- Communicating effectively with families, professionals, and the wider support team.
- Promoting health, safety, dignity, choice, and respect in everything you do.
What Were Looking For
- A caring nature and a genuine interest in helping others succeed.
- Experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities or mental health needs
- Someone with understanding and empathy with the needs of adults with Learning Disabilities and / or Mental Health needs
- Ability and willingness to provide support with prompting personal care in a valuing, sensitive and enabling manner
- Able to assist in assessing, monitoring and reviewing specific skills as part of wider individualised support planning process
- Assist in supporting customer skills development in various specialist areas including Communication, managing personal relationships, travel training, budgeting and domestic skills.
- A good understanding of person-centred approaches and equality and diversity.
- A team player whos flexible, self-motivated, and positive.
- Comfortable using IT for documentation and reporting.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or a willingness to train.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo a DBS check.
- UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are preferred but not essential.
