RMS are excited to be recruiting for a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support manufacturing operations with our client based in Peterlee.
This is an on-going temporary position and would be working a 2-shift rotation Monday to Friday (7AM-3PM/3PM-11PM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and verify against purchase orders.
- Load, unload, and move materials within the facility
- Supply production lines with necessary materials and components.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update tracking systems (manual or electronic).
- Ensure storage areas are clean, organized, and comply with safety standards.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
The ideal candidate would be from a manufacturing background with previous experience in material handling or similar manufacturing role as well as being confident with computers and Microsoft Packages.
The successful candidate will be required to attend an induction and complete a D&A Test.
