Job Title: Project Manager / Contracts Manager Location: Wakefield-based with Nationwide travel Salary: £50,000 per annum Package: Company vehicle & fuel card or £5,000 car allowance + mileage Bonus Scheme: Minimum £10,000 individual bonus + £5,000 team bonus (Top performers have earned up to £25,000+ in bonuses) Pension & standard company benefits Company Overview A well-established and growing main contractor, turning over £22 million annually, delivering fast-track refurbishments and fit-outs across the hospitality sector. Projects typically range up to £350k in value and include pubs, hotels, and restaurants. Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on Project Manager / Contracts Manager (PM/CM) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for multiple refurbishment and fit-out projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from mobilisation through to completion Full responsibility for delivering jobs: programming, site coordination, subcontractor management, H&S, cost control, and client liaison Run project accounts throughout lifecycle, including final accounts Pricing of selected tenders (not a primary responsibility) Ensure compliance with company health & safety standards and statutory obligations Candidate Requirements Proven experience in managing fast-track fit-out or refurbishment projects (ideally around the £350k mark) Sector experience in pubs, restaurants, or hotels is advantageous but not essential Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage final accounts Able to work independently and take ownership of projects Excellent communication and organisational skills Full UK driving licence
