Quantity Surveyor (PQS) – Client side – Midlands – up to £70k plus package Our client is a specialist lender providing Bridging, Investment and Development finance to a wide variety of Residential Clients across the UK. With a requirement to ensure borrowers projects run to time and budget, they are now looking to hire an additional Quantity Surveyor / PQS as follows: * Working part home, part office based in Solihull * Focused on ensuring projects presented as borrowing cases are fully costed and remain so until completion / sale * HND or higher qualified * CIOB or RICS accredited with 0-2 years PQE (preceded by 3+ years professional experience prior to accreditation) * A background in PQS, ideally Residential Projects (housebuilders / new builds/conversions etc.) * A thorough understanding of Building / Development Projects from inception through to completion, covering initial cost planning through to final account. * The ability to understand and mitigate financial risks ensuring projects run to time and budget.
