Insurance Administrator – £Neg / excellent – Essex (Hybrid) We’re working with a major independent Property Management company who are looking to hire an additional Insurance Administrator to join their existing in-house Insurance Team as follows: * Part home (2 days), part office (3 days) based in Essex, close to Southend on Sea, working Mon-Fri 9am to 5.30pm (home working applies after probation) * Working as part of a team of x7 Insurance Administrators, focused specifically on Buildings Insurance cover for a large, leasehold portfolio * Liaising with brokers for new policies/renewals, leaseholders regarding queries/dispute/claims and claims handlers as required * Organising valuations for building reinstatement costs to ensure policies are set right, informing effected parties accordingly. * General insurance account administration, from arrears chasing to general queries and taking card payments. * Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualification desirable but can/will be supported in post after probation Suitable Insurance Administrator applicants MUST COME FROM A PROPERTY INSURANCE BACKGROUND and understand Buildings Insurance process in relation to Leasehold Blocks of Flats. An Insurance Broker / Claims Handler with this exposure would also make an excellent candidate for the role. In addition to coming from a stable career background and living within commuting range of Southend on Sea, the suitable Insurance Administrator will have good all-round IT Skills (Microsoft Office etc.), strong customer service skills, an excellent telephone manner and be able to handle large volumes of work at once. Remuneration for the successful Insurance Administrator will include a highly competitive basic salary (negotiable according to experience and qualification), private healthcare & pension (after probation), ongoing CPD/training and lots of staff events/socials. Holiday starts at 4 weeks plus public and goes up 1 day per year following 2 years’ service to a maximum of 25 days.
