Our client are a global leader in security scanning systems and are currently experiencing high levels of growth. As such, they are seeking an additional Assembly Technician/Trainee Welder to join their production team The Role: This role involves the precise assembly and welding of components with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Training on welding will be given to the succesful candidate Key Responsibilities: * Assembly, fabrication and welding of large X-ray tubes, following detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and clean room protocols * Using specialist tools and calibrated equipment * Ensure compliance with safety standards (HSE, COSHH, compressed gases). * Support manufacturing engineers with process improvements. * Contribute to the development of work instructions and checklists.
