About the Role: On behalf of a locally based client, we are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join the team on a 6-month contract, supporting a key Health, Safety & Compliance project across the operations in the construction and plant industry. In this role, you will be instrumental in reviewing and updating Health & Safety systems, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry regulations. You’ll work closely with site personnel to ensure that all actions are appropriately recorded, tracked, and followed through across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities: * Audit and update existing Health & Safety systems to align with current policies and standards * Ensure full compliance with internal safety procedures and industry regulations * Support the rollout and communication of updated procedures across all operational sites * Monitor and record corrective actions, ensuring they are implemented and maintained * Collaborate with managers and site teams to promote a positive safety culture * Provide guidance and support on Health & Safety best practices Requirements: * Proven experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role, preferably in construction or plant sectors * In-depth knowledge of UK HSE legislation and compliance processes * NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) required * IOSH Certificate * Strong communication and organisational skills * Ability to influence and engage teams across multiple locations * Available for a full-time 6-month contract based in Stoke-on-Trent What We Offer: * Competitive salary * Opportunity to make a tangible impact on a major compliance initiative * Supportive working environment within a well-established company Premier Placement Services are acting as a recruitment business for this role
