Location: Middlesbrough Job Type: Permanent Pay: £12 per hour WorkingHours: 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday varying between 6am-10pm Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking A Transport Admin. This is role requiring a combination of strong leadership, analytical skills, and industry knowledge to optimise transportation operations, enhance customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for day-to-day support of the Customer Service Supervisors and Customer Service team. Project Planning: Develop and manage daily routing plans, ensuring optimal performance and timely deliveries, Ensuring the most cost-effective delivery solution is selected on all occasions, Working with customer services and depots to manage issues, delivery costs and OTIF. Communication: Monitor and clear issues from the Vans@ email inbox, Liaise with warehouse, purchasing, logistics and other teams to align on fulfilment and stock, Update internal teams with the number of routes, drops, and PMOs; explore automation possibilities, Manually schedule daily customer notifications through OptimoRoute and confirm bookings with customers. Leadership: Lead and train members of the transport planning team, promoting a positive team environment and culture. ealthHealth and Safety: Monitor Health and Safety within the team. Performance: Ensure all aspects of the Transport Planners and Warehouse Admin roles covered and completed. This includes, but is not limited to; route plans, 3PL requests, customer update emails and phone calls covered. Performance Standards: Promote and align yourself with the company standards, Data analysis & data entry. Very competent with spread sheets and CSV files, Optimorote and all other software platforms used by Leader Online. You will be responsible for overseeing all areas of the transport planning facilities to ensure efficient and effective planning and scheduling of transportation activities. Who You Are: Previous proven customer facing and interaction experience, preferably in an ecommerce or direct-to-consumer role. Friendly and patient with outstanding communication and troubleshooting abilities. Have good communication skills, both written and oral. Organised and detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking capabilities. Self-motivated with the confidence to work independently providing best-in-class customer experience.
