Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with knowledge of Fire Alarm and AOV systems to drive sales, develop new business, and manage client relationships.

Location: Manchester | Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business.
  • Promote Fire Alarm and AOV solutions to new and existing clients.
  • Prepare quotes, designs, and sales reports.
  • Work with the design team to meet standards and client needs.
  • Conduct site surveys and support regional sales teams.

Requirements

  • Proven sales/design experience in fire alarms or related industry.
  • Knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and British Standards (e.g. BS5839, BS7273-4).
  • Strong communication, IT, and organisational skills.

Package

  • Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm.
  • Annual pay increases, performance awards, pension, insurance, medical cash plan, cycle-to-work scheme.
  • 23 days holiday (rising to 27) plus bank holidays and birthday off.
  • Company vehicle
