This role plays a key part in translating global strategic objectives into actionable priorities for daily operations. You’ll help drive operational performance across ESO functions while coordinating people, processes, and resources to deliver maximum value to both internal stakeholders and end customers.

  • Collaborate with UK ESO functional leads to drive operational excellence and business growth through inspirational leadership.
  • Develop and maintain an effective UK ESO governance structure, covering key processes such as supply review, change control, new product launches (NPL), tech transfers, and KPI tracking.
  • Ensure smooth execution and adherence to ESO governance, escalating risks or delays as appropriate.
  • Drive goal setting, KPI realization, and performance transparency (e.g. OTIF, LNS, OOS), in alignment with global ESO reviews.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for UK ESO operational performance, supporting both local and global stakeholder needs.
  • Provide input into S&OP and commercial reporting to flag risks and opportunities early.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including UK Procurement, PMO, and SPS program leads, to align priorities, resources, and strategic planning.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying best practices and promoting capability development across the UK ESO organization.

What We\’re Looking For

  • A degree (or equivalent) in a technical or numerical subject such as Science or Business.
  • 10+ years of experience across multiple areas within Operations — including production, quality, supply chain, technical, or continuous improvement.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing people effectively.
  • Six Sigma or Lean certification (e.g. Green Belt) is preferred.

Skills & Behaviours

  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Pragmatic and proactive approach.
  • Continuous Improvement skills, e.g. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to see connections and deal with problems before they arise.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Actively support and uphold our equal opportunities policy by treating all colleagues with dignity, fairness, and respect.
  • Consistently demonstrate and embody the company’s core values in day-to-day work.
