Job Title: Project Manager
Salary: £34,500 – £44,850
Location: Cambridge/Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
Contract: Fixed term (12 months), Full-time (35 hours per week)
We\’re seeking a Project Manager responsible for the planning and delivery of a diverse range of print and digital Learning Solution products. About the Role
This role sits at the heart of our mission to unlock potential through learning. You\’ll collaborate with colleagues across our global branches, as well as with manufacturing, data, and permissions teams, to manage projects from initial planning through development, production, and publication. You\’ll be responsible for budget, schedule, risk, and change management throughout the product lifecycle, and for supplier coordination during production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate planning for adaptation projects, ensuring milestones are met ahead of investment approval.
- Build and manage project schedules, budgets, and risk logs from initiation to completion.
- Monitor project health and lead mitigation strategies to maintain delivery standards.
- Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and formal project close-down processes are followed.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated team tasked with driving projects forward and overcoming challenges to bring high-quality materials to market within budget and target sales windows.
About you
We are looking for a calm, confident and proactive individual who can collaborate well with project teams. You should be able to maintain a positive outlook while working on challenging projects. In this role, you will need to be highly organised, with excellent time and workload management skills. You should have proven planning and project management capabilities and be an effective communicator with experience in supplier and stakeholder management.
Experience in publishing production and editorial processes would be a plus. Formal project management qualifications (such as APM or PRINCE2), along with familiarity with tools like Smartsheet and Microsoft Teams, would also be advantageous.
