Our client is a highly successful vehicle repair centre in Rochdale who are accredited to BS 10125. On their behalf we are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator (VDA) to join their expanding operations

Key responsibilities include;

  • Inspecting damage on vehicles to assess what work would be required,
  • Creating accurate repair assessments in line with current repair methodology,
  • Provide time scales and costings for any work completed.
  • Providing Estimates for repair ensuring they are fair and cost effective
  • Inputting workflow
  • liaise with customers and insurance companies in a professional manner.
  • Reviewing work progress and identifying issues.

Skills & Experience required

  • Current City and Guilds or IMI VDA Certificate
  • Experience in using Audatex
  • Ideally experience with GT Motive
  • Experience of working on cars and light commercial vehicles
  • A good communicator with an awareness of customer service ethics and expectation

Working hours are 42.5 per week Monday to Friday.
