Our client is a highly successful vehicle repair centre in Rochdale who are accredited to BS 10125. On their behalf we are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator (VDA) to join their expanding operations
Key responsibilities include;
- Inspecting damage on vehicles to assess what work would be required,
- Creating accurate repair assessments in line with current repair methodology,
- Provide time scales and costings for any work completed.
- Providing Estimates for repair ensuring they are fair and cost effective
- Inputting workflow
- liaise with customers and insurance companies in a professional manner.
- Reviewing work progress and identifying issues.
Skills & Experience required
- Current City and Guilds or IMI VDA Certificate
- Experience in using Audatex
- Ideally experience with GT Motive
- Experience of working on cars and light commercial vehicles
- A good communicator with an awareness of customer service ethics and expectation
Working hours are 42.5 per week Monday to Friday.
