The role of the 1st Team Performance Analyst is to support the First Team Performance Analysis department in delivering elite-level analysis that generates actionable insights for coaches and players. This role plays a critical part in preparing tactical and individual performance insights that enhance team and player development, in both training and match environments.

Your Impact
- Produce and present tailored opposition individual player analysis to key first team stakeholders, including the coaching team and players.
- When required, collaborate with the First Team Analyst Lead to deliver detailed opposition analysis, including tactical trends and key threats/opportunities.
- Assist in managing and maintaining analysis databases and folder structures related to opposition and internal performance data.
- Contribute to the matchday analysis process at both home and away fixtures, including live coding, in-game feedback, and post-match reporting.
- Ensure the analysis output is aligned with the MCFC philosophy and performance objectives set by the management team.
- Provide flexible support across all areas of the Performance Analysis team as needed, contributing to wider departmental objectives including training analysis, individual development, post-match reviews, and ad-hoc projects.
What we are looking for
- Undergraduate degree in Performance Analysis or a related field.
- Detailed knowledge of football.
- Experience to work to tight deadlines.
- Experience of working within a Performance Analysis environment.
- Highly proficient using Hudl Sportscode.
- Highly proficient using Piero or Studio .
- Postgraduate degree in Performance Analysis or a related field
- Experience of independently delivering performance analysis projects
- UEFA B Licence
