Reporting to the Director of Studies, you are responsible for driving the business development and operational success of our established University Preparation program, as well as building and maintaining key partnerships for EF. You will be responsible for the students’ experience and success throughout their University Preparation course at EF

Who we are looking for
- DELTA/Trinity Dip or MA TESOL qualified or in the process of obtaining the qualification
- At least four years’ teaching experience
- University degree or equivalent
- Experience within sales, student enrolment and business development
- Aware of developments in EFL and have a willingness for self-development
- Able to encourage a positive and sharing attitude to both classroom and professional issues
- A person teachers would readily go to for advice and support
- Highly motivated, proactive and positive

The Role
- Work closely with School Director, DoS and central UP team on student issues, manage disciplinary matters and uphold high standards of satisfaction and support
- UP Curriculum – continuous development working with rest of academic team. Giving feedback, suggesting changes and updating course descriptions
- UP textbooks – monitoring inventory, communicating with UP teachers, ordering new textbooks for each intake and checking invoices
- UP teacher support – schedule and manage teacher meetings, teacher observations, identifying teacher staffing needs and assistingwith recruitment, screening CVs and conducting first interviews
- Student success – student orientation, scheduling classes for students, recording IELTS test scores, reports, creating and maintaining student records, ensuring progress towards minimum score requirements and creating action plans for improvement
- Track, issue and follow up on UP attendance warning letters.
- Student university preparation – counselling students on university options, essays, applications, application workshops and be the point of contact for universities related to UCAS applications on behalf of the student
- Teaching language, research and specialist modules where appropriate
- Act as the main point of contact for EF Sales markets on students’ progress, maintaining clear, professional and prompt communication according to our Gold Standards to ensure market confidence and alignment.
- College fairs – work with central UP department to coordinate visits
- Partner school individual visits and presentations – work with central UP department to coordinate
- Campus tours, partner visits and researching websites for college advising
- Liaising with HULT International Business School for UP combined program, as applicable
- Take ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs), includingstudent satisfaction, enrolment growth, academic progress, and attendance, while working closely with central teams to drive overall programme performance
- Act as the main point of contact for EF sales offices on student progress, maintaining clear, professional and prompt communication (within 24 hours) to ensure market confidence and alignment
- Perform all duties as an EF staff member – adhere to Golden Rules, EF core values and with Customer Service in mind
- Sharing UP events, university visits and any other UP specific news with Sales offices, collecting testimonials for current students and ensuring that all information about the UP programme is accurately represented on shared channels like sharepoint and Atlas.
- Work closely with Sales Offices and Universities to ensure promotion and growth of the programme
