Vacancy: Technical Manager Location: Swindon, Wiltshire Salary: £38,000-£40,000 per annum JHP Recruitment are seeking a diligent and skilled Technical Manager to join our Food Manufacturing client based in Swindon, Wiltshire on a full-time, permanent basis. As Technical Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring food safety and quality excellence throughout the sourcing, manufacturing and distribution of a range of products. Main Accountabilities: * Promote cross-functional collaboration to ensure food safety and quality throughout all teams * Provide leadership and direction to the site technical team * Drive a risk-based approach to managing food safety, ensuring compliance with customer policies and external certifications * Manage internal audits to drive continuous improvement * Maintain quality management systems and ensure compliance with BRC and retailer codes of practice * Maintain and evolve the quality management system in line with industry advances and customer requirements * Coordinate and lead all customer visits and audits * Build strong relationships with customers to meet their needs and develop quality plans * Collaborate with commercial teams to handle customer complaints and queries effectively * Define and implement food safety and quality learning and development Skills & Qualities Required: * Degree or equivalent in Food Science or related discipline * Experience in FMCG, with team management experience * HACCP Level 3 qualification in retailer quality systems * Knowledge of BRC compliance and audits * Strong project management skills If you think this could be the perfect role for you, please apply here or call Tasha at JHP Recruitment
