Sports Coach – Brockley Primary School - September 2025 Start  Pertemps Education are pleased to be supporting one of our fantastic primary schools in their current search for a Sports Coach, based in Brockley, to begin in September 2025.    At Pertemps, we\’re currently recruiting for classroom-based roles across a group of schools and specialist provisions with whom we have built a strong and trusted partnership. With years of experience, our team is well-placed to support your next step in education.    Location: Brockley  Start Date: September 2025   Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm  Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)    About the Role:  Morning responsibilities include mentoring pupils, supporting small group interventions, and promoting positive behaviour  Supervise and lead engaging activities on the football pitch during break and lunch times  Deliver high-quality PPA cover PE lessons every afternoon across EYFS, KS1, and KS2  Run a daily after-school sports club until 4:30pm  Encourage teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship through structured and inclusive sports sessions  Collaborate with teaching staff and pastoral leaders to support pupil development and engagement   The Ideal Candidate Will:  Have previous experience coaching sports in a school, club, or youth setting  Be confident delivering structured PE lessons and activities to primary-aged pupils  Have excellent behaviour management and mentoring skills  Be energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about promoting physical activity  Have a valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)   Why Join This School?  Supportive and inclusive school community in Brockley  Well-resourced PE provision and outdoor spaces  A varied and rewarding role that combines teaching, mentoring, and enrichment  Opportunity to inspire a love of sport and physical activity in young learners  Strong staff team with a shared commitment to pupil wellbeing and development   To Apply:  Please follow the instructions in this advertisement.     If you are not contacted within 2 working days, unfortunately, you have not been successful for this role.  All candidates must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before starting work.
