X-Ray – Field Service Engineer Covering the M4 Corridor and Southwest Region (which includes South Wales) Package: £40K – £50K base salary depending on experience (Maybe wiggle room for right person), overtime and bonus, competitive car allowance, friendly work environment, opportunities for career development, flexible working, private medical insurance, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, Team social events/charity events Staff wellbeing forum IDEALLY YOU WILL COME WITH X-RAY FIELD SERVICE EXPERIENCE BUT THIS IS NOT A PREREQUISITE – PLEASE DO APPLY IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER WORKING WITH A TECHNICAL MEDICAL DEVICE Key Areas of Responsibility: * Performing repairs and PPM to the highest quality standards on a wide range of X-ray equipment, with the range being multi-vendor. * Working closely with the service coordinators to ensure best technical solutions are met whilst maintaining customer SLA’s. * Ensure all service reports are submitted in a timely manner and all associated admin tasks are completed as per agreed timeframes * Assisting other Engineers in the field when required with complex repairs. * Provide technical support to customers and other Engineers when required. Experience: * HNC/HND in relevant discipline and / or minimum 3 years experience working as a field service engineer in X-ray or a similar environment. * Experience of working on X-Ray equipment is an advantage but is not essential. * An understanding of electronic systems and processes is vital! * You will need excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills * You will also need strong IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office tools * Experience on using service management software would be beneficial * It\’s important that you have the ability to interpret complex technical instructions, system manuals and interpret parts compatibility matrix’s etc. * You need the ability to make considered logical and rational decisions in a timely manner and communicate them clearly. * It\’s essential that you are able to manage expectations, including having difficult or challenging conversations with customers and team members when required. * Full right to work in the UK is essential * Full UK driving licence is vital * You\’ll need to live in the Bristol, Swindon, Avon, Taunton or Cardiff (or be willing to relocate at your own expense) If you are interested in this role we would live to have a chat.
