Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy

Responsibilities

Design and deliver high quality, innovative and challenging learning experiences.

Undertake associated activities including module leadership, curriculum development, personal tutoring, recruitment, assessment, review and evaluation.

Coordinate student clinical placements and deliver pastoral care and project supervision of students.

Conduct research and scholarly activity, generate income and align own research with teaching and learning.

Engage with business and professional networks to promote teaching and learning and research.

Qualifications

First degree in a relevant field; doctoral qualification or equivalent professional experience.

Recognised HE teaching qualification and/or fellowship by Advance HE.

Expert knowledge and research in the discipline/field.

Track record of delivering quality learning and teaching to students/learners achieving excellent student outcomes.

Experience of coordinating student placements and supervising students during placements.

Excellent presentation and teaching delivery skills.

Ability to communicate orally and in writing with all stakeholders.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Digitally proficient in Microsoft tools.
