We are looking for an experienced Director of Clinical Operations to join our senior leadership team and drive strategic and operational excellence across our clinical programs.

The Role

As Director of Clinical Operations, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of our clinical trials, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our clinical development strategy, overseeing a growing team, and working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders including CROs, regulatory agencies, and academic partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage global clinical operations for all oncology programs from Phase I through pivotal trials
  • Oversee CRO and vendor selection, management, and performance
  • Develop and execute clinical development plans in collaboration with medical, regulatory, and CMC teams
  • Ensure compliance with GCP, ICH guidelines, and local regulatory requirements
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies across all trials
  • Build and lead a high-performing Clinical Operations team
  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to strategic decision-making and corporate goals

Requirements

  • Life Sciences degree (PhD, MSc, BSc or equivalent); advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience in clinical operations, with a strong track record in oncology drug development
  • Experience leading early and late-stage clinical trials within a biotech or small to mid-sized pharma environment
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and operational challenges in global clinical trials
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
