We are now looking for a Senior Engineer to join our growing team and be based at our Ferndown Head Office. This is a key role with both hands-on and leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead by Example: Undertake planned maintenance and emergency repair work on commercial kitchen appliances, gas and electric.

Technical Authority: Provide technical support to subcontractors and the helpdesk, including fault diagnosis, parts advice, and repair strategies.

Training & Supervision: Support the onboarding and mentoring of junior engineers and subcontractors.

Quality Assurance: Review subcontractor workmanship, conduct site audits, and ensure works meet compliance and safety standards.

Project Involvement: Support installation projects and asset lifecycle upgrades where required.

Client Support: Attend key client sites when escalations arise or when high-profile clients require a senior presence.

Asset Management: Assist with the rollout of asset tagging (barcodes/QR) and maintenance planning strategies.
What Were Looking For:

Time-served engineer with strong experience in commercial catering equipment servicing and repair.

COMCAT certified (ideally 1, 2, 3, 5) and/or F-Gas qualified.

Excellent fault-finding skills and cross-discipline knowledge (electrical/gas/mechanical).

Good communicator with leadership potential and a solutions-driven mindset.

Willingness to be based out of our Ferndown office, with travel to sites when required.
