About the role
As our Hairdresser (Bank shifts), youll play a key role in helping our residents look and feel their best by providing personalised hair care services in our in-house salon. You will ensure residents are offered a full range of services, including washing, cutting, colouring, and styling, all tailored to their individual preferences.
Heres some other important things you need to know:

Provide wash, cut, colour, and styling services to residents, ensuring they are given full choice and control over their hair appointments.

Build positive relationships with residents and take time to understand their care needs, adapting your approach if those needs change.

Ensure the resident experience is welcoming, friendly, and dignified at all times.

Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe salon environment while working.

Ensure towels and other laundry items are passed to the laundry team at the end of the day.

Report any equipment issues promptly to the Home Manager.

Keep track of supplies and complete purchase requests when items need restocking.
