Currie & Brown is currently looking for senior project managers to support our continued success and growth in Scotland across a number of sectors, including education, healthcare, commercial and office fit-outs.
The successful candidate will generate a high standard of service delivery as part of our team, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.
Your core duties will involve:
- Delivery of projects on programme, within budget and to the requisite quality and compliance standards
- Managing and directing teams of design and specialist consultants, closely monitoring performance, and proactively addressing any issues
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders from the client and customer teams including, property services, designers, contractors, FM and building management and security consultants.
- Delivering projects, commissions and professional assignments
- Assuming a leading role in setting objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team player
- Assisting with commercial management services
- Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships
What skills and attributes are we looking for from you:
- Technical delivery experience gained within the construction industry
- BSc in construction management, architecture, building surveying or equivalent
- Experience in the education sector environment would be advantageous
- Experience of fit-out projects
- Risk management qualifications or experience
