Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit accurate quotations for clients
- Generate tender submissions and variations by collaborating with clients, engineers, and designers
- Evaluate supplier quotes and assess their suitability for projects
- Support project planning and communicate requirements at project commencement
- Attend on-site meetings as required
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external customers
- Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and standards
Essential Requirements
- Experience and knowledge within manufacturing and the construction industry
- Previous estimating experience working for subcontractors
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, scope of works, and bill of quantities
- Strong working knowledge of contractual obligations, regulations, building regulations, project programming, and risk management
- Excellent organisational and analytical thinking skills
- Problem-solving abilities with an enthusiastic, self-motivated approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills at all levels
