This role involves monitoring market trends, analyzing data, and supporting trading and commercial teams with in-depth research and forecasts. Key Responsibilities: 1. Market Analysis * Conduct detailed analyses of global LNG markets, including supply, demand, pricing, and trade flows. * Monitor geopolitical, economic, and environmental factors impacting LNG markets. * Track and analyze developments in LNG infrastructure, such as terminals, pipelines, and shipping. 2. Data Management & Reporting * Gather, manage, and interpret large datasets related to LNG markets. * Develop and maintain analytical models to forecast prices, demand, and supply trends. * Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. 3. Trading Support * Collaborate closely with traders to provide timely market intelligence and strategic insights. * Evaluate trading opportunities by analyzing arbitrage potential, shipping costs, and contract structures. * Support risk management efforts by identifying market risks and recommending mitigation strategies. 4. Stakeholder Engagement * Build and maintain relationships with market participants, including suppliers, buyers, and analysts. * Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to gather market intelligence. 5. Regulatory & Policy Monitoring * Stay informed about regulatory developments impacting the LNG industry. * Assess the potential impact of policy changes on trading activities and market dynamics. Qualifications: * 1+ years of experience in LNG markets, energy trading, or commodity analysis. * Strong understanding of LNG supply chains, contracts (e.g., FOB, DES, SPA), and pricing mechanisms. * Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Python, or Tableau. * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly. * Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: * Experience working with trading desks or market intelligence teams. * Familiarity with LNG shipping and freight markets. * Knowledge of key LNG trading hubs, indices, and pricing benchmarks (e.g., JKM, TTF, Henry Hub).
