Sellick Partnership Ltd are currently recruiting for a Disrepair Supervisor to join one of our Bristol based clients to assist with the management of the caseload for the disrepair surveying team
Daily duties of the Disrepair Supervisor:
- Manage the caseload for the disrepair surveying team responsible for responsive repairs to the council\’s stock of dwellings, buildings and land managed by Landlord Services, including reviewing Particulars of Claims submitted as disrepair claims against the client
- Act as lead consultant providing expert witness advice and reports to a range of officers in relation to technical housing matters, including PAD applications, FOIs, SARs, EIR\’s, Ombudsman reports, Disrepair claims, and complaints, and Accident Litigation claims
- Supervise and coordinate Response Services Surveyors to provide pre and post Repairs inspections
- Attend court on an ad hoc basis on behalf of the client acting as a witness to defend claims against the client
- Manage complex complaint cases through to a successful conclusion; to include fact finding, report writing, explanatory responses, and witness representation at court on behalf of the council
Essential requirements of the Disrepair Supervisor:
- Able to respond to out of hours queries when necessary
- Possesses an in-depth knowledge of Housing Disrepair
- Previous experience working within Social Housing
