Senior Support Worker Care Through The Millennium are a well-established fast growing private residential care provider who offer support to vulnerable adults.We offer our employees comprehensive training programmes and excellent development opportunities in a caring and supportive environment. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Support Worker who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to supporting vulnerable adults with a Learning disability and complex needs at our residential home in Shirley, South Birmingham. The successful Senior Support Worker will assist the Management team in the day to day running of the home assuming a level of responsibility as designated. Offering guidance, development and support to the staff team and conducting one to one meetings. Participating in assessing and planning to meet the service users’ needs as well as taking part in meetings with other professionals and family members. Hours: 42-hour week on a flexible shift system, which will include long days and on-call responsibilities. Applicants must have achieved the Lead Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship, a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care, or an equivalent care qualification.
