Caralex Recruitment Limited are recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded housebuilder based in Hampshire who are looking to appoint an Estimator.
The developer is looking for an Estimator to join their commercial team to prepare budgets, evaluate risks and assess costs from pre land acquisition to the completion of the development.
This role holds a key position within the commercial team, collaborating closely with departments across the company, including Architectural and Design, Land and Development, and Sales.
You will have either worked for:
– a housebuilding development company in an estimating or quantity surveying role, working on land appraisals, cash flows, budgets andcosts and familiar with preparing information for the quantity surveying & buying teams.
– an affiliated industry such as a main contractor, groundworks or bricklaying subcontractor, cost consultancy / PQS firm, or a social housing contractor, and have experience using estimating software, such as Bluebeam or ConQuest.
