QC Inspector

FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a QC Inspector based in North-West Aberdeenshire, on a Permanent, Full Time basis.

Following a period of recent company growth, this newly-created position will play a key role within the Quality department, with a focus on maintaining high accuracy and competence, in line with client expectations.

Main duties include:

·        Conduct pre- and post-weld inspections and assessments

·        Verify compliance with engineering and welding drawings and procedures

·        Identify and report repair and re-work requirements

·        Coordinate and track NDT activities

·        Maintain accurate documentation and record-keeping of inspection activity

Suitable candidates should have the following:

·        Ability to understand complex engineering drawing

·        CSWIP 3.0 qualification

·        Understanding of welding procedures, structural materials and workshop standards

·        Proactive and collaborative approach, with a keen attention to detail

Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeenshire, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
