Clinical Coder-NHS-Inside IR35-Ongoing Contract -To develop, manage and coordinate the coding function at either site ensuring compliance with data submission targets and national standards. -To ensure that all national and local standards are met in terms of accuracy and timely production of clinically coded data. -Ability to analyse and make judgements on complex patient clinical records -Knowledge of the Data Protection Act and patient confidentiality. -Understanding of PbR, and the importance of coding in reclaiming the cost of patient treatment. -Mentoring and coaching skills. -IT skills suitable to use Patient Administration Systems, Clinical application Systems and local departmental systems as necessary for allocation of ICD10 and OPCS 4.8
