We are looking for a Data officer to be part of our Connected Practice team in the Children’s Services Department. The team is responsible for ensuring service and practice development has a joined-up approach which includes digital practice, Liquidlogic use, practice support, policy and service-wide changes.
The role is for 30 hours a week and flexible working is available.
Using your experience and knowledge of Social Care practice recording on Liquidlogic you will work closely with the Practice Support Officer and Practice Leads (Early Help, Social Care & Education) and System Administrators on Records Management.
The key tasks of the role include:
- View, analyse and interpret simple duplicate records, applying the processes to correctly identify errors and discrepancies
- Review complex duplicates, recommend an appropriate course of action, and see this through to completion
- Consult with the Early Help & Social Care Practice Lead and Education Practice Lead where decisions outside of the agreed process need to be made

We will be shortlisting for interview based upon the below experience (so please make sure they are clear and visible on your application):
- Working knowledge of relevant departmental services (Social Care, Early Help and Education Division) with experience of using Liquidlogic modules LCS, EHM or EYES.
- Verbal and written communication skills, particularly the ability to translate technical information into an easily understood format for the non-expert.
- Ability to analyse, interpret and handle sensitive data when working under pressure, understanding the link between safeguarding and accurate record keeping.
