They're now on the lookout for an ambitious and technically strong MEP Quantity Surveyor to join their specialist team in the heart of London. You'll take the reins on high-profile projects and complex MEP packages, working closely with clients, contractors, and the internal commercial team to deliver exceptional value and quality.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Managing cost plans and budgets for mechanical, electrical, and public health systems (MEP) across major London-based and international projects
- Leading procurement, BoQ creation, and tender processes for MEP works
- Driving contract administration including variations, valuations, and final accounts
- Liaising with engineers, project managers, and clients to keep delivery on track
- Carrying out regular site visits to assess progress and validate costs
- Advising on value engineering and risk management
- Ensuring contractual and compliance standards are met
- Supporting dispute resolution and claims negotiation where needed
What You'll Bring:
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar
- 3-5 years of experience in an MEP-focused QS role
- Chartered or working towards RICS accreditation
- Proven ability to manage MEP packages within complex builds
- Strong commercial acumen and contractual knowledge (JCT, NEC, FIDIC)
- Confident communicator with great negotiation skills
- Comfortable with MS Office and cost planning software
