Role- Senior Control and Electrical Design Engineer Salary- £50,000- £65,000 per annum (Dependent on experience, please advise what you’re looking for) Type- Permanent Location- Oxfordshire My engineering client are looking to take on a Senior Control and Electrical Design Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the Oxfordshire area. The Senior Control and Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: Be Degree/ HND/ HNC/ NVQ qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar 5 years or more of industry experience working in a similar Electrical Controls and Design role Be confident carrying out the design and prgramming of control systems for special purpose machinery Have hands on electrical panel building and wiring capabilities too Be able to use CAD for electrical design work – ideally SolidWorks Electrical but other programmes will be considered Good knowledge of machinery design standards and safety standards – EN(phone number removed) and BS7671 Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes Excellent communication skills Flexible to travel as needed as part of the roleThe Control Systems Engineer role will involve: Designing electrical and control systems for special purpose equipment to support development projects Programming PLC’s Electrical system design including BOM’s and component selection Providing electrical and controls support…
