Job description
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Plan, organise, and lead coaching sessions across a variety of sports.
Support the development of pupils’ physical, social, and emotional well-being.
Identify and nurture sporting talent, encouraging participation and progression.
Lead and manage extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and after-school activities.
Accompany teams to fixtures, competitions, and events (including some evenings or weekends).
Maintain high standards of behaviour, safety, and safeguarding at all times.
Assist with the organisation of sports days, tournaments, and whole-school events.
Work collaboratively with PE staff and wider school teams to enhance the sport provision.
Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback where appropriate.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Sports Coaching, Physical Education, or related field.
Experience delivering PE within a school environment.
Coaching experience across multiple sports disciplines.
