Role purpose:

Developing and closing new business opportunities within target customers in aligned verticals to achieve set annual gross margin targets. Develop and execute a new business territory strategy, driving business across all SCC products and services.

Security clearance or willingness to apply will be required for this role. Full UK driving Licence required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Articulates customer challenges and creates joint plans with the BU to propose suitable solutions, driving a blend of Product and Services aligned with the company\’s vision.
  • Identify, create, develop, and campaign sales opportunities within existing customers, fully aligned with the client’s strategy and objectives.
  • Provide campaign leadership: lead and orchestrate virtual internal and external teams on all sales opportunities.
  • Maintain, expand, and build engagement with vendors and partners within the account base, managing these to drive sales growth and margin.
  • Perform account relationship targeting, develop and create effective Account Plans in SalesHub, and undertake regular campaign and opportunity planning.
  • Work effectively with SCC solution experts to define the right proposition for specific client requirements.
  • Maintain an accurate and timely forecast in SalesHub, build and grow contacts, campaigns, and customer data, and develop marketing plans to drive margin.
  • Manage and grow customer relationships at all levels, orchestrating senior SCC Executive engagement.
  • Identify opportunities and risks operationally, commercially, and legally, considering financial imperatives within SCC.

Skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable technology infrastructure and services sales experience, with success in enterprise projects into FTSE and/or Public Sector organizations with framework experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of technology and services aligned to business outcomes, with effective communication up to CxO levels.
  • Proven experience selling IT Consulting, Professional, Managed Services, and/or Enterprise solutions.
  • High business and commercial awareness with successful negotiation skills at senior levels.
  • Proven track record of sustainable growth within previous client engagements.
