Job Title: Practice Nurse – Ayr, Queensland.

Job Type: Permanent.

Hours: Flexible hours from 15-38 hours per week.

Practice Information:
This family-owned, mixed billing general practice is part of the Family Practice Medical Centres group, spanning across QLD and NSW. The team environment is highly supportive and nurse-led when it comes to chronic disease management, immunisations, and preventative health care. You’ll be working alongside experienced GPs and a dedicated admin team. With shared resources, internal clinical training, and peer support from the wider network, this is an ideal environment for nurses who want to grow their clinical skillset in a modern, RACGP-accredited facility.

Scope of Nursing Practice Includes:

Chronic disease management

Immunisations and vaccine management

Wound care and procedural assistance

ECGs, spirometry, and other diagnostics

Contributing to quality improvement activities You\’ll be a key member of a collaborative care team, with opportunities to work autonomously and alongside GPs for coordinated patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse

Immunisation certification (or willingness to complete)

Experience in general practice or community health preferred

Strong communication and clinical documentation skills

Proficiency in infection control and chronic disease protocols
