Our Leading Manufacturing client in the Antrim area are seeking to recruit a Field Sales Representative covering Northern Ireland and bordering Counties.
The Role
They are looking for an individual from an Engineering background to join their Field Sales, who has the ability to sell a range of quality, innovative products and services to new and existing customers. Working in our field sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining existing territories, developing new sales leads and increasing market share by selling market leading brands and service contracts.
Key Duties:
- Selling a range of equipment e.g. (£500 – £1M) and service contracts (£1K-£300K)
- Converting pay as you go service customers into service contracts
- To attain and demonstrate a high level of product and system knowledge in order to respond to technical sales enquiries
- To recommend specific products and solutions that meet the clients needs
- To prepare proposals and quotations for both existing and prospective clients Sales admin support will also be available
- To work closely with other departments within the business to facilitate a successful transaction from lead quote presentation – sale delivery installation payment
- Site surveys
- To achieve all KPIs including meeting and exceeding revenue targets, call/visit targets on new and existing customers
- Ensuring that an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided
- Diary planning – Responsible for your own appointment setting and diary planning
- CRM System Data updating from daily site visits
- To follow up inbound leads generated through marketing activity
- Brainstorming with the Team to produce marketing campaign ideas to help meet your sales targets
- Reports to Sales Manager Daily contact, weekly reports, pipeline
To Succeed, you will need
- A full UK driving license
- Excellent IT skills, and desire to learn new systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
Required experience:
- 2+ years of fast-paced sales experience (B2B) (will be a strong advantage)
- Technical sales experience (will be a strong advantage)
- Team player and cooperative
- Delivers a high-level customer service
- Quick to learn and versatile
- Ability to quickly develop product knowledge
- Conducts market analysis to stay ahead of competitors
- Creative with good ideas to increase sales
Full product, system training and support will be given.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000.00 to £36,000.00 p/a + Commission (dependant on experience)
