- Provide engineering support to the Commercial team
- Communicate and discuss complete specifications to Engineering & Manufacturing departments
- Understand key customers’ products and services
- Communicate with Commercial & Engineering to consolidate specifications and recommend configurations
- Prepare quote package including drawings, cost estimates and any other required documentation
- Keep informed of supplier pricing, products, and services
- Drive the correct IDEX initiative of 80/20 qualification of opportunities as appropriate.
- Respond to customers and co-workers in a timely and professional manner.
- Actively participates in all customer support programs including development projects.
- Comply with health and safety policies and procedures
- Support company values including ethical conduct and high integrity in all actions.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate company and product values to prospective customers via formal and informal presentations, meetings and communications.
- Research, document and report industry trends, purchasing history and buying trends related to assigned accounts.
- Maintain accurate and timely activity reports.
- Participate in assigned meetings, selling events, special training programs.
