Multi Skilled Engineer Mechanical Bias

Our client, a global manufacturer who is renowned for its well-known household brands, is currently on the look-out for a Multi-Skilled Mechanical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join their team. They pride themselves on being amongst the best in the industry and they are currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced individual to contribute to their ongoing success. Job details: * Ensure that preventative and reactive maintenance duties are carried out across the site. * Be the first point of contact when breakdowns occur. Diagnose and resolve issues promptly to minimise downtime. * Work on ways to implement improvements to prevent waste. * Collaborate with other maintenance team members to co-ordinate repairs and maintenance activities. * Liaise with the Engineering Team Manager for workload planning and technical support. Qualifications / Experience: * Engineering skills obtained by a time served apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3) * Strong Mechanical maintenance background (essential) * Electrical knowledge * Previous experience working within FMCG / Food (essential) What’s on offer: * Shift pattern – 4 on 4 off (2 days / 2 nights) 7am – 7pm / 7pm – 7am * Salary – £53,500 (inclusive of shift allowance) * Overtime available at time and a half * Holiday allowance – 24 days + an additional 3 days for good attendance * Pension contribution – Matched up to 8% * Private Medical Insurance * Employee of the month / Rewards * Free company products * On site parking Please note: All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
