We are looking for aDesign Manager – Rail to join our Infrastructure team in Liverpool.You will be responsible for implementing and delivering the Engineering and Design Management Activities for the Project.
What you\’ll do:
- Support the setup and develop Engineering and Design Management Plans, tools and process for the Project.
- Support the project CEM in discharging the duties and requirements of the engineering management plan.
- Manager designers and design packages to ensure that the works are assured in line with Network Rail Standards and delivered in accordance with the project programme and budget.
- Responsible for implementing and delivering the Engineering and Design Management Activities for the packages of work you are appointed to.
- Monitor design maturity and provide support to the commercial teams in development of commercial strategies, price submission(s), changes etc for your packages.
What you\’ll bring to the role:
- Experience in the delivery and assurance of design, construction and hand back of works in accordance with Network Rail or similar Rail sector standards on similar scale or complexity of projects.
- A collaborative attitude across internal teams and external teams. A collaborative approach with the ability to communicate with a number of key stakeholders at various levels.
- Proven experience and ability to develop Engineering Management procedures and systems.
